About Gesr Home

We Pay Attention to Relevance, Not Just Detail

Gesr Home is a property evaluation company. We provide property information and consultation for homeowners, sellers and prospective buyers who want to understand a property's realistic value, and the context behind it.

The company grew out of one observation. People can gather a tremendous amount of information about a property and still feel unsure which part of it deserves their attention. Square footage, repairs, features, nearby sales. Plenty of facts, very little sense of which ones matter.

So our job isn't to hand you a bigger pile. For the past eight years, we've focused on helping clients see which information is relevant to the property question they're actually trying to answer, and which details can comfortably sit further back.

“Not every property detail carries the same weight. We help you understand which ones deserve attention.”

Who we work with

People Usually Come to Us With a Question Already in Their Head

Some arrive with a very specific worry. Others just have a feeling that something about the property needs a clearer explanation. Most of our clients are homeowners and sellers, along with buyers weighing a purchase, and a few situations come up again and again.

01 · Preparing to sell

“Am I worrying about the wrong thing?”

Someone getting ready to sell is often focused on one room, one repair, one feature or one improvement. What they really want to know is whether that concern deserves quite so much of their attention.

02 · Thinking about a future move

“Do I need to decide whether I'm selling before asking about the property?”

You don't. Some clients simply want better context before deciding what they'd like to do next. Understanding the property first can make that decision feel less like guesswork.

03 · Considering a purchase

“What should I understand beyond what the listing shows me?”

A listing is written to present a property. A buyer weighing a larger decision may want more context around what they're looking at, and what's worth asking before going further.

You don't need to arrive with a perfectly formulated property question.

Part of our role is helping work out which question is actually useful. Often the first conversation is simply about getting that question right.

Our standards

The Standards We Hold Ourselves To

These are the working rules every evaluation goes through, whoever the client and whatever the property. Each one is here for a reason, and we're happy to tell you what it is.

Written down, so you can hold us to them.

Standard 01

We explain before we conclude.

Every figure we share comes with the reasoning behind it: the characteristics we weighed, the comparisons we used and why, in everyday language.

Why we think so

A number you can't explain is a number you can't use.

Standard 02

Context outranks the checklist.

We weigh each feature against this specific property, its characteristics and the comparisons that genuinely fit it, never against a generic list of what "adds value".

Why we think so

The same finished attic can matter a lot in one home and very little in the next.

Plain words, every time.

Standard 03

We say so when it depends.

When an answer hinges on information we don't have yet, we tell you plainly, along with what that information is and how it could change the picture.

Why we think so

Honest limits are worth more than a confident guess.

Standard 04

Your decision sets the focus.

Selling, buying or simply understanding your home: we shape every consultation around the decision you're actually facing, and keep the rest in proportion.

Why we think so

A detail is only relevant in relation to a question.

Reasoning you can repeat to anyone.

Our team

Always ready to help

“Send it over. We'll take a proper look.”

Behind every Gesr Home consultation is a team that lives and breathes property: floor plans, records, comparable sales, repairs, improvements and every question that comes with them. Eight years of this work has given us a deep, practical feel for what makes one home different from the next.

  1. 01Property evaluationReading a home's value through its characteristics and the comparisons that truly fit.
  2. 02Records and documentationPlans, past changes and paperwork, and what they mean for the property today.
  3. 03Features and improvementsFrom a finished attic to solar panels or a workshop, what each one brings in context.
  4. 04Seller and buyer questionsThe practical concerns that come up before listing a home or making an offer.

There are very few property questions our team hasn't worked through before. And when one is genuinely new, we enjoy figuring it out with you.

Every message is answered by a real member of our team, someone who knows property, not a script.

What we hope you leave with

You'll Leave Knowing What Really Matters About Your Home

Not what we're aiming for

  • just another property number
  • a long list of disconnected observations
  • false certainty

What we'd like you to have instead

  • a clearer sense of what deserves attention
  • better context for understanding the property
  • questions worth asking next
  • information you can actually use when considering a sale, a purchase or another property decision

Gesr Home provides property evaluation, information and consultation. We don't offer guarantees about future selling prices or market outcomes, and we'll tell you when an answer depends on the individual property.

You don't need to know whether the detail matters before you ask.
